The bar had a lovely atmosphere, while the shower only had cold water.

Had a great time with friends! We visited the Excel and enjoyed the bar restaurant on-site. The rooms were clean and comfy. Just a note , the stairs can be steep, especially if you're on the top floor.

I found the bathroom a bit small and lacking toiletries. It could be better.

Do recommend for a fleeting pause

Comfortable room, friendly staff, including the helpful team during breakfast service which offered a good variety, and excellent location just 1 km from the airport, making it easy to explore the city without hassle.

Everything was first-rate.

Consider bringing your own pillows for added comfort, as their pillows can be quite flat.

I stayed here for a weekend and loved how the hotel was just a short walk from the beautiful parks and scenic views of the Docklands, making my city strolls all the more enjoyable. plus, the atmosphere in the bar area was vibrant with a live band playing on Saturday which added a nice touch to the evening.

Perfect for a Family getaway

The room was basic but super clean and comfy, seriously, just what we needed for our stay. And Poly at the front desk? She was the sweetest, helped us with everything, making us feel welcome the whole time.

It wasn't exactly a bargain but it was still acceptable.

the bed was super comfy n the room was really clean. staff were friendly at check in n helped me out a lot. wifi was amazin so i could work easily. plus, the pub downstairs had great food at decent prices.

i wish breakfast was more than just self-service continental n the bathroom was way too small.

We had a fantastic stay! The food was fantastic, especially dinner and breakfast – so delicious! The shower was powerful and hot, making mornings great. I would absolutely return!

Clean room, friendly staff.

A conveniently located hotel close to the Excel Centre, with friendly staff and clean rooms. The noise from planes can be a bit much, and the small bathrooms could use improvements, especially in the shower. a decent stay for the price.

i had a pleasant stay for a couple of nights, and it really exceeded my expectations. the location was super handy, just a short walk from the excel center and easy access to public transport. the restaurant below served a lovely breakfast that kept me fueled for the day.

The room was spacious and had a lovely outdoor bar area perfect for drinks in the sun. Plus, luggage storage after checkout was a lifesaver!

Had a fantastic time here! Loved the pub downstairs. it was super convenient after a long day exploring. The character of the old building really made our stay special. The free parking was a huge win. Totally handy for the DLR station too, so we had no stress getting around.

fox connaught has a fantastic location, just 2 minutes from prince regent dlr and close to excel. the staff were super friendly, and the breakfast spread was impressive! having a heater in the bathroom was a nice touch too. the place is quirky and full of potential with some updates.
